HIMSS Oregon – 2011 Sponsorship Program
The Oregon Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is a professional organization dedicated to the development of healthcare information technology professionals throughout the state of Oregon and southwest Washington.
What is our purpose?
HIMSS Oregon recognizes and embraces the ever-changing practice of healthcare and how information technology can play an important role in improving patient care, maintaining compliance with government regulations, and evolving the overall clinical experience.
Our mission is to bring healthcare IT professionals together with their business and clinical partners to explore issues of common concern, network, promote the industry, and grow professionally by sharing our knowledge and experience and learning about new tools, methods and technologies.
Healthcare and IT professionals from across Oregon and southwest Washington actively participate in our chapter, including:
• IT leaders from Oregon’s healthcare organizations (CIOs, VPs, Directors)
• Healthcare IT professionals (business analysts, project managers, network administrators)
• Nursing and medical informaticists, and clinicians
• Healthcare IT students from colleges and universities state-wide
During a typical year, HIMSS Oregon offers 4-5 educational Chapter events, ranging from evening events to half-day or full day formats. Additionally, we host 1-2 social programs to combine education with networking. To incorporate engagement from our members outside the Portland area, we facilitate several webinars that address timely healthcare IT issues. Attendance ranges from 50 - 200 members, depending on the event. Our Chapter events are designed to share expert knowledge and to facilitate networking among our members.

HIMSS Oregon Launches New Annual Sponsorship Program
Oregon HIMSS appreciates sponsorship from the healthcare community as a way to promote and fund the chapter’s programs. We offer a flexible sponsorship program to allow companies and/or organizations to align sponsorship opportunities with their marketing goals. A range of sponsor levels offer different benefits to improve the awareness of our sponsors and, in turn, provide a benefit to our local community of healthcare information management and technology leaders.

Elite - $5,000
- Logo recognition as elite sponsor on HIMSS Oregon web site throughout the year
- Priority option to have a sponsor table at up to 3 Chapter events during the year
- 10 complimentary admission tickets to all Chapter events during the year

Premier - $3,000

- Priority option to have a sponsor table at each of 2 sponsored chapter events

Partner - $1,500
- Logo recognition as partner sponsor on HIMSS Oregon web site throughout the year
